Flying High on the Most Iconic Cliff on the Appalachian Trail

After sunrise and breakfast on top of McAfee Knob, it was time to slack pack off the summit full Mary Poppins style, and take some fun pictures…

I’m so happy this GoPro has voice activation, app control via its own WiFi signal to my phone, and burst mode.

Eventually I had lunch, more pictures, then found a great napping spot in the shade, with a great view of course.

It’s on to Tinker Cliffs next and then down to Daleville and into northern Virginia. We plan to drop the miles quick!
