I setup a quick rain shelter with the rain fly from my tent a couple times, hoping the rain would blow over quick.
Eventually I said screw it, and just kept going. The rains parted at times to give way to scenic views.
The last couple hours ended in a soft downpour that I became one with. I landed at a resupply within a resort called Black Bear.
It wasn’t a 20 today, but close. The pain in my left foot and ankle has subsided enough that I’m noticing my right knee more. And my insoles are shot, I can feel every rock through my shoes suddenly, no wonder my feet are extra sore each day… there’s always the next weakest link in the chain to improve.
